Photography expeditions · once a year
Come home with
the whole trek
We're building a special kind of departure: a small-group trek where a professional photographer and filmmaker travels with you, not just to document the journey but to teach you as you walk. You'll learn the basics of mountain photography and videography — composition, light, storytelling — hands-on, in some of the most spectacular country on earth. Coming soon; we're shaping the first one now.
A photography expedition, once a year
A service you can book onto — not a phone in your pocket.
Once a year a dedicated professional photography team joins a hand-picked trek and shoots it end to end, from base-camp life to summit light. You stay present on the trail and still come home with a gallery worth printing.
What you get
- Learn photography & videography basics on the trail
- A pro photographer-filmmaker walks with the group
- Adventure first — a real offbeat Himalayan trek
- All levels welcome — phone or camera, no experience needed

A different pro on every departure
The photographer or videographer changes trip to trip — we bring in a professional who suits each route and objective. We announce who's leading the next photography expedition on that trip's featured page, so you always know who'll be shooting alongside you.
Think of it as two trips in one: a genuine offbeat Himalayan trek, and a field workshop that leaves you actually knowing how to capture it. No experience needed — bring a phone or a camera and a bit of curiosity.
Our guiding photographers have spent years shooting across the Himalaya and the Southern Alps, from base-camp life to summit light. They walk as part of the rope team, teaching by your side and sharing the settings, the timing and the eye behind every shot.

Walk it. We'll shoot it.
The photography expedition runs once a year on a select trek — ask us which departure is next and we'll save you a spot.
